OBAMA is not Kerry. OBAMA has got that "IT" factor. And i think a lot of people see that in him too. This is one of those moments when you can just feel something in the air. This is a JFK, MLK moment. If we can all drop our cynicism ans BELIEVE. Let us cease this moment. This a moment in history, We are gonna look back at this moment in time and we are either going to be glad to have been part of it or regret the moment that passed us by.
BELIEVE. OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT.

The endorsement of the Kennedy family is clearly a testimony of a very likely Obama white house. That is if things continue the way they are till the election. No magic from the Bush administration would change the mind of Americans on misplaced trust handed over to the republicans for 8 years.
However,we should keep in mind that the American society is so conservative and pro-defensive that a terrorist attack before the election would see a shift and call for a republican president especially if Obama becomes the democratic nominee. That would see the emergence of value-voters in a dimension that would shock the world.

-----------
After the assassination of President William McKinley in 1901, Congress directed the Secret Service to protect the President of the United States. Protection remains a key mission of the United States Secret Service.
Authorization
Today, the Secret Service is authorized by law to protect: - The president, the vice president, (or other individuals next in order of succession to the Office of the President), the president-elect and vice president-elect
- The immediate families of the above individuals
- Former presidents and their spouses for their lifetimes, except when the spouse remarries. In 1997, Congressional legislation became effective limiting Secret Service protection to former presidents for a period of not more than 10 years from the date the former president leaves office
- Children of former presidents until age 16
- Visiting heads of foreign states or governments and their spouses traveling with them, other distinguished foreign visitors to the United States, and official representatives of the United States performing special missions abroad
- Major presidential and vice presidential candidates, and their spouses within 120 days of a general presidential election
- Other individuals as designated per Executive Order of the President
- National Special Security Events, when designated as such by the Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security

It is a moment in history for both of them...a to be woman/black man president. Not only obama. I strongly believe that if obama wins, the republicians will be seen in office. Is that what we want or are we just dying to see a black man in office?

I think in Obama's case, it will depend if America is ready for a black president. He has a lot of potentials, but will America accept him in the final analysis? We should not forget that racism is very much alive in the States even if it's not mentioned out loud due to political correctness.

Very true thats when the real mudslinging will start.
I only wish at least folks can vote for one candidate from each party ... I prefer Romney to McCain or even Ron Paul .

If we all will stop being cynics and get behind OBAMA, He will win. I believe OBAMA will win against whoever the republicans have to offer. This is not a black or white thing. I am a die hard republican but crossed over because of OBAMA. I really do believe in him and his ability to bring this country together to bring about fundamental change. Hillary is too polarizing. We should all get behind OBAMA and cease this moment. Black, White, Asian, Latinos, Native Americans. Don't look back at this point in time and wish you got on the bus.
BELIEVE. OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT.

You're right, he really does but like you said i am not sure if Americans are ready for a black president, i bet they will prefer Madam Clinton being a white woman to a black man (racism) anyday but whatever happened i still hope Democrats wins.
Someone said until the White is no more called White house before a black man can live inside it.
