.........Just when I thought I was free, they pull me back in!
There I am, quaking in my shoes in the dentist's waiting room, attempting rather vainly to distract myself from the impending pain with a book when a voice out of nowhere chips up:
“Oh, is that a good book?”
I looked up to find a couple staring intently my way. The man was a particularly interesting shade of red and slumped in his chair, his wife looked like she'd just taken a Valium, complete with the vacant 10-mile stare over an insipid orange-lipped vacu-smile. They were both obviously retirees and looking to bother anyone who would sit still enough.
“Yes,” I said, praying that would be enough and aching for a cork with which to plug either my ears or their mouths but knowing in that sinking, depressing way that it wouldn't be.
The man proceeded to blather on about how, as a boy, he'd been fortunate enough to hear Winston Churchill (my book was about Churchill's oratory).
“Wow very nice,” I said.
“You know who else is a great orator?” came the next bit of spittle-flecked blather from Valium-wife.
Uh-oh.
With a glint in her eyes: “Obama!”
Fuck me. Why? Why God, must you test me like this? Of all the old fucking people in all Boise, why did I have to be shacked up in an unescapable situation with two liberal old fucking people?
“Really?”
“Oh yes! We attended the Democratic Caucuses and stood in line for two hours to watch him speak. He's such a good orator.” The such uttered with a ululating lilt that caused an instant gag reflex.
I wanted so badly to say that just because I looked black, I wasn't a fucking asshole Democrat.
And that's the fucking problem with racial politics in this country: several decades after the civil rights struggle and Martin Luther King, Jr's to ensure people are judged by the content of their character and not the color of their skin, people are judging and categorizing me by the color of my skin!
Black=Democrat.
Just like it was:
Black=Stupid.
Black=Inferior.
Black=Poor.
Unless and until black Americans stop this stupid bullshit of their lemming-like adoration of the liberal Democratic ideology, much of which they don't even agree with, we will never leave the fetid jungle of racial politics.
Which brings me to the female Obama who, in a visit to Zanesville, Ohio, actually advised people to foreswear lucrative professions like corporate law and go into the “helping industry.”
That's right, you heard me right. This highly-paid, highly-educated idiot, speaking in a county in which only 12.2 per cent of the adults have a bachelors’ degree wants them to set their sights lower, to stay poor.
Why? Oh well because, you see, she didn't want any of them burdened with the responsibility of paying back student loans. She went on to say that the only way Hussein and she were able to get out from “that position,” as she put it, was by Hussein writing two best-selling books.
Well, I don't know about you, but I'd rather have student loans and be making $300,000 a year as a corporate lawyer, having gone to Princeton to achieve advanced degrees that will partly enable me to run for President than to go into the “helping industry.”
What in the flying fuck does that mean anyway, the helping industry? Like there's some factory in northern Minnesota which manufactures help? $500 pounds a bag.What a stupid bitch! And this, from the woman who wants to become the country's First Lady.
This is the kind of inane, insane platitudes this woman and her fucking husband will bring to the White House and it will only get worse.
What a waste........... Field Marshal is disgusted by this............
