The retort was fine. There was nothing childish about it in the slightest. Watching CNN right now and even they are sayng that is very wise for him to address that question. They are calling it "strong push back". There are wider issues at play here and not just Hilary's comments alone..
It is important to let those swing voters that like both Hilary and Obama that there is no "out" by voting for Hilary and they will get him as well. If he wants to win, he needs to disspeal this notion completely.
And think about it. She touts his lack of experience to be president, yet she mentions that he could be Vice-President?! She specifically said that a vice-president needs to be qualified to be president. Contradicting herself? Not really, she is simply double-speaking to gain this undecided voters.
His response was not only very apt it was necessary.
It was actually better than the actual commercial
