A middle-aged woman in Ivrigho – Irri in Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, Miss Faith Emuobo, who claimed to be a witch has been allegedly raped to death by two insane men, few days after she confessed to have rendered her legion of male lovers impotent.
Faith in her confession, according to an eyewitness account, claimed that she charmed many men, lure them to bed and in the process made them sterile permanently.
Her unbelievable confessions had left many indigenes of Isoko land divided. While some dismissed her claims as superstitious, others believed that Faith had inherent mystical powers capable of turning men’s sperm into kerosene, as she claimed.
Faith Emuobo, said to be irresistably fair, glamorous and with alluring stature, had stunned everyone when she confessed to have caused many mysterious misfortunes that befell her extended family of late, by witchcraft.
She allegedly claimed being behind the mysterious death of her stepmother, who nurtured her up till secondary school.
Faith also owned up to have sealed the wombs of her female acquaintances, making it impossible for them to bear children throughout their life time. Her legion of lovers, according to sources, include top politicians in and around the community, as well as commercial motorcyclists.
Her sordid confessions resulted in her being stripped naked in public by a mob after her family drove her out. P.M.News investigations revealed that she hid in an uncompleted building in the night when two young men, suspected to be insane, descended on her and had a marathon sex with her.
At dawn, Faith was seen exhausted and famished after the gang rape. She pleaded for food to enable her regain strength, but none was provided.
Desperate for whatever could help her regain her strength, Faith eventually stooled, and for lack of viable alternative, she reportedly ate part of her faeces before she died.
Following her death, some of her relatives and school teachers were arrested by the police and later granted bail by the police.
P.M.News gathered that Faith was buried in her father’s compound in Oleh, Isoko.
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in the area, Mr. Paulinus Atta, a chief superintendent of police (CSP), denied knowledge of the incident.
