A University lecturer in the Department of Industrial Chemistry at Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki, has been arrested for allegedly raping a female student and taking nude photographs of her .

The Police said that the alleged rapist and others forced the victim at gunpoint to an undisclosed location where the victim was dispossessed of her mobile phone and raped. He said that the alleged rapist confessed to have committed the act and admitted to being a member of the Black Axe Fraternity.
