Man carrying $150K attacked by gunman in wild midtown heist outside Starbucks

A brazen gunman escaped with $149,000 in cash Friday after beating a music executive bloody outside a midtown Starbucks as stunned mocha-sippers watched in disbelief.

The gunman stalked Seton Ijams from the lobby of a nearby bank after watching him make the large withdrawal and then jumped him outside the coffee house, police sources said.

A battered Ijams - yelling "Please help me!" - was dragged by the gunman along the slushy sidewalk in a violent struggle for the cash, witnesses said.

The bandit pistol-whipped Ijams, beat him and fired one shot, possibly grazing Ijams, who then surrendered a black sports bag stuffed with cash, witnesses and police said.

Something sure smells fishy.
