Life without crude oil?

When unrenewable resources like crude oil are being dug continuosly and become finally deplated can you imagine what life would be without crude oil? No cars, planes, electricity and many other luxuries. I think it would be catrastrophic

Dammy, I doubt there would even life without all these necessities we need in life, they would just be powered by a different source. God help our future generations!

They better continue researching into alternative technology o! Thats why i dont blame countries like saudi Arabia for investing in tourism coz they know they cant rely on oil forever

I don't think it'll be as bad as we think. Under-developed countries may retrogress for a while and fall back on the older forms of energy i.e. coal, steam and so on to tide us till such a time that newer forms of energy became available and/or inexpensive. I don't necessarily think we'll come to a standstill cause necessity almost always generates invention.

An except nigeria wakes up and begin invest in other things as well as revisit our forgotten natural resources, we may be heading in the same direction as some poorer countries when our oil runs out.

Saudi, like someone correctly alluded, to has started to invest heavily in tourism and some wonderful attractions as they realise their oil is being depleted at an alarming rate...

And if china continues to make their huge demands ( and I don't see how they won't ) all I can say is bye bye to oil....
