827 students caught in fake admission scandal!
AN admission syndicate has been uncovered at the Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State.
A total of 827 desperate candidates who sat for the Universities Matriculation Examination (UM) conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) were offered admission by the racket.
The university's Registrar, Mr. G.J. Olawale who disclosed this last weekend at Ekpoma, maintained that the candidates whose names and departments were published in the state owned The Nigerian Observer yesterday were never admitted by the school.
Olawale therefore advised the students, some of who have since resumed academic activities to desist from parading themselves as students of AAU, insisting that "they only made themselves cheap victims of fraudulent admission racketeers." more

A few of them get caught....Heard of how many students were expelled in University of Calabar and it was even published with their names? They sent home even 4th year medical students with no Matriculation number without any hope for the future..The same thing happened in Imo State university!
