Nigeria versus Ghana
On the 23rd Januray 2006, Nigeria will play against Ghana at the African Nations cup in Egypt. As we all know, there's a great rivalry between both countries. Ghana have suffered the loss of 2 key players Michael Essien and Sulley Muntari, but that doesn't mean they'll allow Nigeria to walk all over them.
This thread has been opened for fans of both countries to make all the noises and brag all you can before the real business begin.
As for me, I've always supported Ghana at the African Nations cup and I don't see any reason to change.
Paj, Kolinzo, Pete and all other Nigerians, I wish you guys a very bad game and a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Ghana.

...I'm not sure how much "kenkey" the Ghanaian chicks on this site have promised U but U're barking up the wrong tree here pal... I understand the euphoria behind qualifying for the world cup but I feel sorry for Ghana... I hope myself and my Ghanaian pals will still remain friends after this cause I wont stop bragging till kingdom come..

Which "kenkey" are you talking about? I grew up supporting Ghana at previous Nations cup. I remember the days of Abedi Pele, Tony Yeboah, Odartey Lamptey and others. Ghana were a major force to be reckoned with in African football. They have more history and football tradition than Nigeria.

...stop skirting the question...how many Nations Cups has Abedi Pele,Tony Yeboah and Nii Lamptey won? When Cameroon mentions great players such as Roger Milla,Salomon Olembe,Samuel Eto'O,Patrick Mboma,Rigobert Song,Jacque's Nsong'O,.....they back up their greatness and prowess when then proudly proclaim these guys won the Africa Nations Cup...when Nigeria mentions greats like Rashidi "GoalKing" Yekini,"Mathematical"Olusegun Odegbami,"Chairman" Christian Chukwu,"Oga" JJ Okocha,Peter "Dodo Mayana" Rufai,"Chief Justice" Adokie Amesiemeka,Felix "OwoBlow" Owolabi,Daniel "The Bull" Amokachi,Finidi "Finito" George, and so on...we back their greatness because they won the Africa Nation's Cup....U mention all these players from Ghana who didnt even win the WAFU Cup much less the ANC..abeg gree me hear word joor...

I know right. That goal still beats my imagination how it was ruled off offside.

..omo..I tell ya...some refs need to be flogged...especially the mumu Tunisian ref that was busy admiring Ikpeba's penariti for the 2000 ANC final instead of watching the line...omo...I had to get drunk to get over that loss man... even the Cameroonians in the house were shaken....U know how U win..but have massive respect for ya opponent?Na so E be...
