Crisis in the Togolese team.
It appears the 2 most powerful Nigerians (Keshi and Adebayor) in Togolese football are on the verge of completely ruining Togo's Nations cup campaign. It has even come to the point of restraining the Togo coach (Stephen Keshi) from physically confronting his own player. When will African football ever be as disciplined as their European counterparts.

Apparently, if the story is infact true, then Adebayor needs a proud-head check. Keshi did what any reasonable coach would've done.

What has this got to do with the matter? Have you forgotten about the German coach (last month) that head-butt his own player? So this got nothing to do with continent, but emotion. Football is an emotional sport.

Adebayor's got issues. I mean for his former club, monaco, manager to say publicly that he was glad he left the team and never would want anything to do with him again! And now this! The boy is on theverge of ruining himself. I like him as a player but he lacks some kinda of common courtesy!

I blame Keshi for all this fiasco (even though he's a manager I like). The reasons he gave for dropping Adebayor didn't quite make sense. He knew the entire Togolese team absolutely depended on Adebayor. He's the guy who scorer over 80% of their goals. If Adebayor eventually walks out on the team, believe me they'll struggle badly for goals.

The rate at which these things happen in Africa is almost unbelievable. I was watching Football Mundial on TV few weeks ago and a manager made a comment that in Africa, players don't respect local coaches. That's actually a fact. I'm not entirely blaming Adebayor for this confussion. But there's so much confision in the African game.

It's wrong, but Keshi made a terrible mistake by leaving Adebayor out. It doesn't make any sense because Adebayor is clearly their best player. If he doesn't play in this Nations cup, he can be rest assured that Togo will not progress beyond the first round.

And what kinda coach will Keshi be if he didn't do that? In Brazil, Ronaldinho will never pull stunt like that, not even Ronaldo, Kaka, would do such a thing.

If Keshi's not careful, he'll be fired. Going out of the Nations cup in the first round will only strengthen Adebayor's position. Adebayor is the most popular in Togo and right now, Togo can't survive in the ANC without him (Adebayor). Just wait till they face Cameroon and Samuel Eto'o.

Come to think of it, the boy (Adebayor) gets Iron leg? So what you are saying now is that a whole country depends on one person? If he get injured nko? Or if he gets RED card? Come of it no player is indispensable in football.

Have you checked Tgog's record lately? Do you know that Adebayor scores nearly all of their goals? He almost single-handedly took them to the Nations cup and the world cup. Get all the facts bro.
