It used to happen. FIFA sometimes pardon all the yellow cards picked in the first round, but you never know cos it's not a certainty. It's not a rule, they ususally do it out of good will and for the world cup to be more interesting. Fingers crossed, they might also do it this time.

Brazil is not afraid of u scoring aganist them, just be ready for them to score aganist u. They have weapons of mass destruction, and I dont think Ghana can handle that.

It appears Michael Essien won't be playing against Brazil despite the fact that FIFA has decided to cancel all the yellow cards picked up in the first round.
All yellow cards have been cancelled but those who picked up 2 yellow cards in the first round will still be suspended for the second round. I think FIFA should have cancelled all yellow cards including those who picked up 2 yellow cards. Therefore, Essien will not be playing since he picked up 2 yellow cards in the first round.
