I think you guys will qualify. The press are trying to exaggerate Arsenal's "poor performances", but I don't think they've been poor. It's just that they've been missing too many chances. It would have been worrying if Arsenal were not creating chances, but they are.

We should qualify but if not, God please do not let it be Bolton. What an embarrassment for the EPL they will be. Everton are no better! We must and will qualify.

Bolton is a typical English club. They're very physical and they play a type of "Kick and rush" football. They're always playing long balls hoping one of their tall players will eventually get on the end of it.
The only other team that can do a decent job at the Champions league should Arsenal not qualify is Spurs.

Ljungberg hasn't been himself since our unbeaten run when his partnership with Pires absolutely destroyed oppositions. They were a joy to watch. Oh! what happy days those were.
Anyway, the jury is still out on Adebayo in my household. My husband and sons are of the opinion that we should get rid of him. There are times I feel that we should too and times I feel maybe we should give him a chance.
Hleb is another. I feel he holds on to the ball too much and too long therefore allowing opposition to tackle the ball from him with ease plus the fact that he can't shoot! He plays well sometimes though.
Flamini and Senderos too maybe are not good enough to play for my beloved club.
And I think we should give young Denilson more games. I like his style of play and he is more Brazillian with his football than Gilberto. Gilberto is more San Marino than Brazillian!
And what has happened to Rosicky? His game seem to have gone flat these days! And that Eboue. What's with the bad temper, going down at minimum tackles and all that injury? I'm getting fed up with him at the moment.
And Henry should be stripped of the Captaincy. I never supported AW's decision with this from the beginning. I don't think Strikers should be Captains. Gilberto, followed by Toure, to me, would play this role more successfully and effectively.
Rant over (*takes deep breath and goes to look for some fun threads if there are ever any these days!*)
|
@highlighted. I hope you guys know that Sir Alex is a big fan of Adebayor and Man United do want to sign him. So if una nor want am, abeg make una sell am to us.
I have never been a fan of Flamini. He's not a good player and I'm still wondering what Arsene Wenger sees in him.

All in all,I think Arsenal will eventually make it to the Champions League...Concerning the players talked about,I think Ljunberg is past his prime and keeps running about like an headless chicken...Gallas hasnt been too fantastic(Where is Djourou?)....I think Pires could have still has a little to offer us with his style of play.....Senderos and Gilberto are for me the worst players at Arsenal...Hleb has his off and on days....Rosicky is class act but I think the frustrations are catching on....I'm beginning to get interested in Sevilla's Daniel Alves that we av been linked with....He sure will make Eboue stand on his toes and give him a run for his money!

Lol at your comment about Ljunberg.
I have to disagree with you on Gilberto. He's had a very good season and he's been one of your best players. The problem with Arsenal is that they're not scoring goals and that's not Gilberto's main function.
About Daniel Alves, I don't think you can afford him. He's now estimated to be worth around £24 million.

(In bold) Are we? Or are we just SENSIBLE with our money unlike the self-titled UNaptly-named "Special one" Jose!
And regarding the strikers, in addition to those you've mentioned, have you not heard of, Robin Van Persie, Theo Walcott, Jeremie Aliadiere, not to talk of the young promising, very promising strikers in our reserve team?
We watched the game between Arsenal and Man U reserve teams the other week. Arsenal won, of course! The future is very bright indeed for my team.
We won't need to BUY success, neither would we need to spend £30M buying flops e.g. Ballack.

Anyways,I am here to announce to the house loud and clear that minutes ago,Arsenal brightened their chances of makin the Champions League with an emphatic victory over fifth placed Bolton...They took the lead early on through Anelka but we fought back and equalised through Tomas Rosicky before the half came to a close....At the beginning of the second half,Gilberto sent in a superb through ball to Fabregas and he dribbled through the Bolton defence and beat Jaaskelainen from close range....He almost went bunkers as he celebrated his goal that sent the over 60,000 fans into raptures...

We did it again yesterday against Machester City....We beat them 3-1 with goals coming from Rosicky,Fabregas(what a sublime volley!) and Baptista...We're 3rd(at least for 24hrs) and Champions League qualification is just around the corner...

I know! Stuart Pearce, Man City Manager thought they had the 1-1 draw in the bag not knowing the awesome Fabregas was going to do them in. Great stuff!

Arsenal are still not convincing this season. They always look like conceding. Don't get me wrong I'm happy they're going to the Champions League, but I'm not sure how well they'll do judging by their performances this season.

You cant judge how well we will perform next season based on this season okay?We will always get better and when Wenger adds one or two talents in the summer,we would have become a team to be reckoned with!

Ifreke, we have some problems on our hands. Playing Tottenham is the least of them. David Dein has resigned because of the American take-over. Arsene Wenger is not committing to a new contract until the end of the season and key players could leave if AW does!
I just hope things gets sorted ASAP. We don't need all these distractions at such a crucial time. AW must not leave. To me, he is one of the best, if not THE best Manager in the world.
We should beat Tottenham though even if they always play us as if it's a Cup final!
