Egu's record is far better than any of the coaches we've had in the past. I'll be here to remind you when going gets tough for the FC.

..that aside...Eguavoen is also to blame.His selection was not just poor,it was outright WOEFUL!Everyone plus folks on Mars know Ghana plays 4-4-2,with the midfield being the heart of their team.We were already missing personnel in strategic positions due to both injury and AWOL(Obafemi travelling to Lagos)the most he could've done is to choke the Ghanaian midfield with FOUR Midfielders,with only one of them(Obi) being the offensive midfielder!And with that,he could've let perhaps Utaka and Yakubu start as strikers(or perhaps Yakubu and Aghahowa) so that Obi can feed them.But noooooooooooooooo...the mumu starts THREE strikers(Utaka,Osaze and a hapless,wasteful,out-of-form and goalbarren Makinwa),with Obi as OM,leave Obodo and Olofinjana as the only two DMs.Now,considering how physically unmposing Osaze is and combining that with how useless Makinwa is,all his through passes ended up withthe opponent and ends up in counters.I tell U...this is where man management would've counted a lot..but Egu goofed again.He even played dummy into the hands of the opponent bynot hyping up his boys.The opponent 'played down' the match like it's just another casual friendly,and Egu foolishly bought it.There was no hype in his pre-game press conference,he didnt even appear as if he was either prepared nor look@ this match as a REAL DERBY!He and the boys strolled on to the field 40 minutes late while Ghana team had been warming up 20 minutes before the agreed kick off...Ghana,@ halftime served their players warm tea and gave them replacement jerseys because of the bad weather,Naija had none of that!I'm tired of Nigerian coaches man,except for Siasia.Even Uwua sef get issues..major issues..but I go comot mouth from dat one...
