All said and done,I think the match would have gone either way really but Chelsea put in more determination and energy into it.They scored a really good goal too...The movement from Mikel to Drogba to Lampard and back to Drogba was classic....A typical piece of Arsenal magic!

Classic? Classic? Did you see the same game? Watching paint dry would have been more exciting. That match must surely enter the Guinness book of records as the most boring match - EVER! The only determination and energy Chelsea put in was after the game when the players were running around the pitch with the cup!

She is simply referring to the combination that led to the goal not the entire match!

PIfreke, thanks for your comment relating to Arsenal classic; whatever doubters say Arsenal is the best team in terms of value-for-money football. Alan Hansen of the BBC (who's not even an Arsenal fan) will tell anybody who cares to listen that he would buy a ticket (with his hard-earned money he reckoned) to watch only two teams in the Premiership- Arsenal and ManU! Football is beyond brawn alone.........Frayed nerves (oops Chelsea fans..).

To Kikis and Papino.
I just believe the word 'Classic' should not be in any sentence relating to that match. Be it the combination that led to the goal or not. Unless you say 'Classical boring'!
You need to see how the media and pundits over here are crucifying the match.

Ifreke is a she yes.
The one I dey be say i happy say we win well well.
The match was crap boiled over for full plus extra time, till a brief moment of brilliance from the Mikel-Lampard Drogba combination that led to the goal, three mins from the end of proceedings. It didnt live up to the hype pre-match time. So you are correct in that fact, but dont douse my fire

Alan Hansen is but one individual, and its only now because Chelsea wasnt in dominance this season, that everyone is drowning our ears with the brilliance of The Gunners and the devils. Come next season when(not if) CHelsea picks up its game, Alan Hansen may say the opposite. The media always flows with the winner, their admiration lasts as long as you continue to win, once you have bad periods they crucify you, so I dont take much stock of what they say,Bring on the next season and let the clubs speak for themselves

Ifreke, come and explain yaself right now! YOU ARE A SHE??? Oh well, nothing spoil. No wonder we are kindred spirits in terms of Arsenal.
And Kikis, okay, I'll try not to douse your fire. But the celebration and rubbing in don do now.(As if I wont do the same if it was Arsenal!!) Poor Med is suffering the loss too much. Altogether now, awwww...
