I believe it's time for your usual lesson in football since all you've been watching lately is the NFL.
Firstly, here's a stat for you. Argentina went a goal down in their first 2 games (against USA and Colombia) with in the first 10 minutes. They eventually scored four goals in each of those games and won convincingly.
Secondly, Argentina have scored an overwhelming majority of their goals in the second half, which proves they're a patient team and they do it in style.
Finally, with regards to all the Brazillian players mentioned in your post that were dropped by Brazil. When Dunga took over, he ended the international careers of players like Cafu and Roberto Carlos. Juninho announced his retirement immediately after the world cup (don't expect you to know that cos you're not well informed), Ronaldinho and Kaka claimed they were suffering from exhaustion as a result of playing too many games. Your dude at Inter is called Adriano and he's no longer a first choice striker at Inter. Rather he's a sub behind the likes of Cresspo (who's Argentine

) and Ibrahamovich. Brazil wouldn't want to take a player to the Copa who is a substitute in his club.
Dunga also said it's time for a new era in Brazillian football and decided to introduce younger players claiming result would not be affected. But what happened? Brazil lost 2-0 to Portugal, drew 1-1 with England (even with Ronaldinho and Kaka), drew 0-0 with Turkey and lost 2-0 to Mexico. So much for results not being affected.
To conclude your lesson for today, in the 1999 Copa America, Brazil took all of their best players including Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Cafu, Roberto Carlos, Denilson, Elber etc. Argentina on the other hand took a very young Riquelme, Palermo and other young players leaving out the likes of Gabriel Batistuta, Hernan Cresspo and others. So it's not the first times that one of the big two have decided to take a young team to the Copa America and it shouldn't be an excuse for the failures of the coach and the team.
Your lesson is over for now.
