Argentina progress to the Under 20 World Cup Final

Paj, I know this is not the news you expected but Argentina have reached the final of the Under 20 World Cup in Canada. They successfully thumped Chile 3-0. Imagine the way Chile beat Nigeria 4-0. Argentina showed them the way the game should be played. They now progress to play Czech Republic in the final.

PS: Remember I told you about Sergio Aguero in Pete's Under20 World cup thread, well he has now scored 5 goals in 6 games, and he's the tournament's leading scorer so far.

So I take it you'll be supporting the Czech Republic.

Shame on you for hating on those little kids of Argentina.
BTW, Argentina have won that tournament 5 times and they've won it more than any other nation on earth. They're now going for number 6 to create a gap between them and Brazil.

Did I forget to mention that Argentina have only conceded one goal throughout the whole tournament? How good is that?

Argentina's frist goal against Chile. What a cracking finish by Angel Di Maria.

Argentina's second goal against Chile.

Argentina's third goal against Chile.

Oh please!
These boys have given me renewed hope. They play football the way it should be played. I think it's time for Argentina to get rid of some of the so called superstars and give some of these young lads a chance. Players like Aguero, Banega, Morales and Di Maria and ready to move the step up.

Ol boy, the Copa is done and Argentina have moved on to better things like preparing for the world cup qualifiers.

BTW, Brazil have only won the Copa America 8 times compared to Argentina's 14.
