And I heard the match was as exciting as watching paint dry! The media reported that the only "exciting" part of it was when a Chelsea player tackled Beckham! Apart from that, nothing - according to reports.
The move to the US "Soccer" league is not a good move for David in my opinion and he looks like he's regretting it already. Anyway, so long as Victoria is happy..........

I watched the game and I was impressed with the standard of play of the Americans. Football (or soccer as they call it) is definitely improving in the US.
BTW, I think Sidwell's tackle on Beckham was unfair. He knew Beckham was injured and he made that silly tackle.

He had a goal disallowed for offside and rightly so.

It was indeed a dangerous sliding tackle. But who am I to criticise? I'm always the first to perform a sliding and dangerous tackle when we play football at the park. I've lost count of how many times I've been warned by my mates to play easy.

That Sidwell just wants to over-do himself so he can bench Mikel and even Lampard and Ballack. The tackle was silly and something we see in primary school fields.
