If you have brothers,you will definitely know what table soccer is,because it is so addictive to young boys(and old agbayas),especially the ones who live and school in lagos.

(There is a way to cheat here... and that is by simply dragging the bottle cap half way and kicking out the bottle cap to release a deadly shot. You have to do it pretty fast so the referee will not notice)

3. If you kick, miss the ball and hit an opponent... free kick, no card. If the opponent tumbles and falls belly up... RED CARD.

4. You can not 'rub it in' when you win, especially if you are the younger opponent because such display usually leads to ass whupping.

90% of the girls thought it was pretty dumb but hey... I am not sure if they said that because we don't pay attention to anything that moves whenever we are immersed in that glorious sports

I could go on forever... we played this ish so much that we could totally abandon food when all the boys are gathered... 24 hrs of non stop "Table football'... man, ya know, I stashed all our players during our last tournament in '99 and any time I meet any of my brothers or table football buddies, I think we will have a go at that thing for old time's sake

Anyone up for a challenge? We could use custom stadium to make it look classy.

I remember my friend's mother once told me that a child, even today, should never utter the words "I'm bored"... That they should use their imagination to think up games and activities. She said when she was growing up, there was no video games, no TV or anything like that. But her childhood was filled with wonderful playful memories.

Oh thanks for bringing tback tose wonderful memories. Infact it got so bad in my house that every week,my mom gather over a 100 bottle tops to throw away.we would then announce that the entire team died in a car accident or plane crash and start recruiting more players for the next world cup.

I remember my younger brother having this particular bottletop he named Tony Yeboah[His team was Ghana]. He was the longest serving player. He always survived the crash[clean up].Infact my brother had to attach some strands from his hair to signify how old he is.
What a delight it was.Funny enough that particular bottletop always scores.
