It's also about bragging rights. The Nations cup is held every 2 years and you can imagine the humiliation you go through if your team doesn't win.

My peeps (S/Leone) did not qualify and S/Leoneans are divided between Nigeria, Cameroon and Ghana. Nigeria have the most fans among them, so you can imagine the provocation these peeps will heap on me should Ghana loose to Nigeria. When we go to play soccer at the weekends, they will spend over 1 hour provoking peeps supporting countries that have lost during the week. Abeg, those Ghana players had better perform o.

BTW, a lot of peeps are now looking at me in a funny way cos I warned them about Ghana and CIV prior to the Nations cup kicking off. Imagine these peeps, I had 8 calls after Guinea equalised against Ghana. But thanks to Muntari, they were placed where they belong.

Abeg Nadia and others should wait till the tournament is over.
It is just 3 weeks, is that too much to ask?

I don't think so! I know how you feel bro. Ghana had better win otherwise, you're in deep trouble.

@Akos and Ama. You see what I mean? The Ghanaians are now taking things to a whole new level. Passions are running very high and this tournament will ultimately make or break some people, that's a fact. Maybe they should try and control their emotions a litlle bit.

Do you also want to have a bet with me? But I won't enjoy taking your money, considering how beautiful and friendly you are.

Abeg leave Paj or Pete to make their meaningful contributions to my new Playstation3.

No see what "I" was saying. Some people just take it to a whole new level, especially men, and its not just african soccer, even here in the states, It saddens me when i go to bestbuy and you see grown ass men glued to Plasma and HDTV in the store, watching a game, like they forgot what they came to the store to do or that they dont have TVs in their home some even scream at the tv as some of the players like "OH C'mon", (obviously wifey musta sent them to the grocery store to get some few groceries and they lost their way to the best buy ). I just stand there and stare at them for a few minutes and dont even see me starring. ITs just a game guys, just a game, no need to threaten peoples families. C'mon guys.

Peeps should please take it easy. I know Gyan has been the "waste-pipe" of the Nations cup so far, but that's not enough reason to threaten his parents. They should simply drop his ass.
