This morning,Ulli Stein who Berti took along with to Nigeria rubbished Nigeria and Africa in the area of football management.Get me right,he was not saying anything new just that he was simply pointing fingers at the wrong culprit here.Prior to the Nations cup,Berti and his coaching crew praised the NFA for a good football management and proffessionalism. It is a different tone now that Nigerians dared demand value for money. Was NFA behind the decision to travel to Malaga as a training camp-a fairly cold weather compared to Ghana where the tournament held? Was Berti Voigst ever owedd any salary and allowance which cost Nigeria through Adenugas benevolence 75K Euros monthly?Did NFA make the wrong choices on the pitch that saw a dismal-infact,the worst- perfomance of the super Eagles on record? He should take responsibility and keep quite.
What got me pissed was the blasting of football management in the whole of Africa and pointing fingers at according to him,a horribly organised Nations cup in Ghana.I would have thought that a good coaching crew would win anywhere anyhow especially if blessed with abundant talents like Nigeria has.Worst of his(Ulli Stein) comments is that if 2010 in South Africa would be a reality the organisation should be handed over to Europeans otherwise the world is in for the worst of soccer fiestas ever.
Africans should enjoy the insults afterall,we are the ones that submit ourselves to feeling inferior and ignoring our indegenous coaches who would clearly do and actually did better in comparism with the European coaches.
....na dat bad belle go kill dem,if they actually said that.I disagree that African coaches can do better for Africans than foreigners or vice versa, but if these fools had spent time in Nigeria, then Ghana wouldn't seem so strange to them.Good riddance to bad rubbish..
