Well my dear, I don't think we (Man United) played too badly. It was an away game and the most important thing from our perspective was not to get beat. We even missed a penalty which would have surely put the tie beyond Barcelona. Nevertheless, we'll do the job at Old Trafford, and yes I do believe we'll win the Champions League this year.

....dude..both teams played very poor football yesterday. And U guys were lucky Barca didn't have Ronaldinho cause he'd have picked apart that static Manure defence.Eto'O was not himself..and your boy Messi, though he played well, was too predictable for a sleepy Manure defence. With the way Barca played though, they can surely steal the game from Manure if una no wake up.Remember,Henry scores against Manure every other match played...he's played 18 times and scored 9 against Manure.Manure looks tired and lethargic...for the first time I saw Manure playing for a tie....I hope they keep that up for the next three weeks

Regardless of what you say, it is a better result for us than Barca. They needed to win, and they couldn't even score. Watch us beat them at Old Trafford.

BTW, Messi was named man of the match, so I'm sure you know his quality.

You think so?
But they have to come and play us in our own backyard now. And Ronaldo has vowed to score.

Ronaldo can score to his heart's content, but barca will get a score draw and kick ManU out....1:1 2:2 3:3,take ya pick.
You should know that barca can score and win at anybody's backyard as they've repeatedly done before.
You guys should still be very afraid.

We can beat Barca. Their defence is awful and if we play our usual attacking football, we will beat them.

I was surprised and somewhat disappointed that you guys played so defensively yesterday. Haba! Parking 10 men at the back like that?!

When did you guys become Liverpool? I just couldn't believe I was watching Man U the so-called 'players of entertaining football' last night. What was that all about? I enjoyed the Liverpool V Chelsea game the night before far better, and that was even boring by my lovely Arsenal playing standard. (we Gooners are spoilt like that you see, and yes I know we won nought this season but we will the next one..so back to ManU..)

You guys let the entertain side down last night sha.

I hope you give Barca, and us neutral footie fans, a good game of football next week. If you guys are as good as you say you are, there should be no reason to not go for an all out attack.

@ Medden i see you think your guys didn't do bad but i cannot help it i'm still worried . i love English football but yesterday was just plain boring and if Barca plays as they did yesterday i think you should be worried too i mean ManU could not even hold the ball for five minutes though besides ball possessions Barca was not any better

...that still doesn't change the fact that both teams sucked yesterday...I mean..as much as I hated Manure I didn't mind if they scored just so it can open up the game and spur Barca on.From what I saw of the match yesterday,Barca is not incapable of beating Manure @ Old Trafford..Old Trafford is no fortress.....there's no guarantee of a win.I'm sure U saw what happened last year when AC Milan came...Manure was muted until Ivan The Terrible(Gatusso) got injured..dat na one guy Ronaldo no go ever wan see again Damn..talk about imprisonment

Well,I think we all know the truth.Man Utd went to Barca to defend for 90mins and the new superstar in Ronaldo failed to score from 12yards put wen he has scored from unbelievable distances this season.Fergusons shud av made sure they got an away goal so the return leg will be in their favour..Right now,I dont know where to put my money sef!

The motive was to go there and not get beat, and we absolutely succeeded. Now you're gonna see a different game at Old Trafford.

By the way, playing beautiful football everytime doesn't necessarily achieve success. Barcelona play the best football in Europe followed by Arsenal in close second. This will be the second year that Barca have failed to win a trophy, should they lose at Old Trafford. It's been over 3 years since Arsenal last won the premiership. A good team is not judged by how beautiful their football is, a good team is judged based on how they adapt in different matches, and the trophies they win. We can adapt to different atmospheres and with luck on our side, we will beat Barca.
