Cool Martins to sign Adidas £1.7m boot deal.

Martins to sign Adidas £1.7m boot deal

SUPER Eagles and Newcastle United striker, Obafemi Martins has joined the league of megabucks in the football as the former Inter Milan is on the verge of signing the biggest boot deal for an African player.

Top sporting manufacturing company, Adidas will pay Martins £1.7 million for a three-year deal to wear the company's product whenever he plays.

It would be recalled that Martins has been in the news lately, as there were speculations that he might be heading to Arsenal.

Whilst all Newcastle fans know that Martins' heart and soul is at Newcastle as it takes a rebuff of other teams to confirm it to the media and those who are willing to approach him. The tabloids are reporting that Martins has turned down a £15 million move to Arsenal in favour of pushing Newcastle into Europe.

Arsenal, are not alone in their interest - recent reports suggest that both Manchester United and AC Milan are also interested in the 23 year old striker. Martins however, who still has two years left on his £60,000 a week contract has dismissed their interest.

Who dash this idiot deal. The only reason he is not moving clubs is because he can't step up to the big game anymore. After Inter, nothing but the small time for him. Anyways who place is he going to take on Arsenal, Man Utd or AC Milan ?

if you put naira sign in front of that 1.7 then maybe i would believe you.
