..To all ye naysayers..I say this:NIGERIA IS BACK!
....I didn't get to see the match but I followed the commentary on CE ( CyberEagles)[NO WOMEN ALLOWED  ] and the talk was that the new Nigerian coach made a formation that totally wowed everyone!@ the end it was 1-1 goalless draw but the lads played very very well from what I gathered.New legs were tried and not everyone was there..only like 15 players instead of 23....no Obafemi Martins,Chidi Odiah,Chris Obodo(iinjured),Onyekachi Apam and a couple others but we played fantastic free flowing football.I think South Africa is in a lot of trouble this weekend.I believe after that we face Medeen's UNFORTUNATE Sierra Leonean team  :

I watched the match from begining to End. Kano almost spoilt the game. Austria people wey nor sabi play ball, naija b wan go fool theirselves there. New legs were tried, but the coach just sat down there doing nothing, Austria coach dey run up and down dey coach, our own nor fit do anything. Na luck dem get sha.
Peter played well, Uche and Taiwo also played well.

Umm..make I remind U...Austria beat Ivory Coast last year and tied Ghana this year..besides that..Naija don tap real bad soccer from last year till now....when I been watch Naija match against Niger last february..Nnem..we were horrible!Niger was a lot more terrified of us than Austria and we never took advantage..though we win dem 2-0 in Abuja,it was a poor showing.Na like this team was there for the taking but we didn't.Cameroon would've fired 6 past that Niger team but we laboured to score two...and imagine this insult:THEY EVEN HAD A SHOT ON GOAL!
See..when soccer fans like us wey dey follow team intimately see minor differences,we notice.Yes,we should've won dat match yesterday..from the clips I saw even the refs didn't help....bad calls all over the place because they were not match speedwise for our fowards..but we were moving foward a bit better than before and the passes were crisp..no more stagnant midfield..transition from defence to offence was smooth....it's a good start of changes to come....
