Good for Naija. I was busy watching Premiership matches while Falcons were trashing the Japanese team. This is the Falcons' best performance at the Olympics- we've never won a match previously. I hope they'll not do like the Flying Eagles Damman Miracle team of Saudi 89 when they lost to Portugal owing to being overtaken by the euphoria of their previous win.

They should go all out against Sweden tomorrow and claim the Quarter Final spot.

But they finally lost 1-2 to Germany, world female football champions just some minutes ago. They played well and were even about creating a major upset as they were leading 1-0 till about fifteen minutes to the end of the match.

Sorry, they didn't make it. I can't remember the country that beat them in the qualifiers. i've lost faith in naija sports, especially football.

You're right, our guys did not qualify. Our Olympic team have gone down so much since after the Atlanta triumph; it's a pity though.

This year's olypmic is boring, since I don't even see Nigerians at all. Falcons already lost, won only once, and lost twice, which kicks them outta the game, very unfortunate.
