Well it might interest you to know that Lionel Messi just won the highest goal scorer and player of the tournament awards. He was presented with a golden boot and a golden ball for his achievements.
John Mikel obi won a silver ball as the second best player of the tournament. Checkout the link:

Flying Eagles outplayed the Augustinas throughout the whole match. I still can not see what Lionel Messi did that was spectacular in this match. Each of our boys up front outplayed these guys. From Owoeri to Abwo, Obi Mikel to Isaac. It's just unfortunate that our bois couldn't finish up. Apart from the referees bias calls, our bois should have kept their composure and finish these argentines easily. Take away those twon penalty kicks, what did they have. Our boys made terrible mistakes in the back that cost us big time-u don't slide inside the box, that's a gamble!! Nevertheless, we should have killed those Augustinas easily. The Augustinas didn't beat us, we beat ourselves...plus the refs! Flying eagles all the way!

Common bro Lionel Messi is a better player than Mikel Obi. Did you see the way he won the first penalty? How he went past some Nigerian players with ease.
You're right about the mistakes at the back, some of the sliding tackles Nigerian players made inside their box were unbelievable. And Argentina could have scored more goals due to their defensive mistakes.

I can see you are having fun with this, it's all good though! Mikel Obi is clearly the better player between the two. Like I said earlier, players like Abwo and owoeri easily went pass the augustinas defenders. Some were even taken down in the process, but the refree didn't make those calls. Lionel Messi is a striker that actually couldn't go pass the defenders(naija) 85% of the game. Obi Mikel is a midfielder that did what a midfielder does best, distribute ball. The guy's got ball control and set the pace of the game. Btw, wia ya contri dey for dis tournament?

However, I think John Mikel Obi is also a very good player and he showed throughout this tournament that he's going to be a major force to be reckoned with in world football. I think he's going to be one of the best players to ever come out of Africa.

Paj and Kolinzo, You guys should stick to the issue at hand, which is the result of the world youth championship final between Nigeria and Argentina.
This discussion is about Nigeria and it has nothing to do with Sierra Leone OK.
The fact is that Nigeria lost to the besdt team in the competition Argentina and Lionel Messi won Highest goal scorer and Player of the tournament awards.
Paj, for your information Sierra Leone represented Africa at the under 17 world cup in Finland in 2003 OK.

Abegi let's hear jare! when dem dey call people wey dey represent Africa, you dey mention Sierra Leone! who be Sierra Leone for african football? better stop running your mouth about Nigerian football, cos you'll be the worse for it. Before you start complaining about objectivity, remember that football is not about objectivity, it's about passion!
