I don't expect your opinion of Argentina to change. You hate Argentina because they've beaten Nigeria so many times when it matters.

1994: Argentina 2 Nigeria 1.
2002: Argentina 1 Nigeria 0
2005: Argentina 2 Nigeria 1

Argentina has become the scourge of Nigeria in major competitions.

Is the world cup no longer important? Don't forget that the world cup is being played by complete and senior players. What better way to judge than the world cup.

What about the world youth championship?

...it carries a bigger weight because of the age group of players...U-23 plus three over aged players allowed..so..except for Batistuta we actually beat Argentina's world cup team..

Hope you nkow that Batistuta is the greatest goalscorer Argentina has ever produced and you can imagine the difference he would have made if he was involved in that match.

Remember the world cup in 2002, when Batistuta (Batigol) single handedly beat Nigeria.

How can that goal be offside when a Nigerian defender was clearly standing on the goal line? Don't forget that Batistuta scored from a corner.

The players you're talking about were no longer playing for the national team. They had their chance to beat Argentina and they failed thanks to brilliance and trickery of DIEGO AMANDO MARADONA.
