Paj I've been watching football for a long time now. So don't even talk about novice cos you're a really biased novice.
..I'm not biased..I call it as I see it..and I know i'm pretty objective....Nigeria rarely gets 'beaten' by any team..and if we're gonna be 'beaten',it'll be glaring ....games where we've been beaten:
1.1998 against Denmark..dem spank us like small pikin..
2.1987 U-20 Against Brazil..dem nak us 4-0...Romario showed us shege that day..and Bebeto didnt make things easier either...
3.1985 U-20 against Brazil...2-0...maaaaan...Samba defeated Highlife that day man...
...other games we were almost beaten but hustled and beat a better team?
1996 against Brazil..the Olympics....
..games we were cheated in...and lost..but should have won..
1.Naija vs Argentina 2005
2.vs Cameroon..2000 ANC final
3.Nig vs Italy--1994..stretchered out two strikers and no red??
4.1988 ANC final against Cameroon...

OK we shall see.
I can't wait to start provoking you guys when Angola qualifies for the world cup. Just like I'm doing now after Lionel Messi destroyed you defence in the final.

I do agree with you about the Cameroon game. Nigeria was definitely cheated in that match. But isn't it ironic that Nigeria could be cheated in their own stadium? It hardly happens in football.

However, I disagree with you on the 1994 and 2005. Italy and Argentina were the better teams and they deserved to win those games.

Understood, but that doesn't mean we should just keep mentioning names! If that's the case it won't be fun because i have lots of names of good players to mention, but few great ones!

...I'll make one suggestion..when U watch soccer matches...try to watch THE GAME itself..not the scoreboard....kapish? thanks to Issa Hayatou (who's Cameroonian),Nigeria being cheated in the own stadium was the only way to beat Nigeria in that Nations Cup...though our record of never losing a match in regulation in that stadium in 24 years still stands... that ..my friend...is a formidable record...keep trying to take something away from Nigeria without satisfaction...

Whatever. Anytime you're coming to London, remind me to introduce her to you (if we're still together). You'll be amazed, infact you won't believe your eyes.

well the trophy went to Cameroon and you have to learn to live with that fact.

Are you sure you saw the right games?
Italy vs Nigeria (USA'94):
Italian players wrecked two of our playmakers, Daniel Amokachi and Emanuel Amuneke. Emanuel Amuneke was clearly kicked in the groin, after he had scored for Nigeria, by Italian midfielder. What do you call when a player come for your groin when the ball is on the ground? A RED CARD!!! Moving on...Amokachi was brutally kicked, got taken off the pitch, and nothing was done by the refree. Okay, second half of the game, Rashidi Yekini clearly beat Maldini-Italian last man- and Maldini pulled his shirt, but Rashidi Yekini couldn't be brought down. Maldini had to pull and obstruct Rashidis legs for Rashidi to fall, if not that would had been a goal. Now what do you call when a last man takes a striker down in the process of scoring a goal? A RED CARD baby!!! Despite all that we should have won the game. We went to extra time and the refree called a penalty kick against us, on Equavoen, which there was no pushing involved at all. It was a two players contesting for a header and he called that a foul!!! Give me a break Meddeen!!
