Who is the most talented African footballer?
We all know that Africa has produced great footballers in the past and still continue to produce great players at present.
Players like Abedi Pele (Ghana), Roger Milla (Cameroon), George Weah (Liberia), Kalusha Bwala (Zambia) all had distinguished careers and are now legends in Africa.
There are also players currently playing like Jay Jay Okocha (Nigeria), Samuel Etoo (Cameroon), Didier Drogba (Ivory Coast) that are very good players and they are well respected in Africa.
My question is;
Who is the most talented player ever to come out of Africa?
You can name any other player you think is the most talented African player.
Guys please be honest and don't be biased.

The most talented Arican footballer in my opinion is Abedi Pele (Ghana). He had great dribbling skills, good goalscoring record, he was a leader of his country's football team and he was also one of the first African players to win the European Champion Cup.

Good point.
George Weah is the only player to have won:
"The African footballer of the year award"
"The European footballer of the year award"
"The world footballer of the year award".
And he won all the awards in the same year, 1995.
What a tremendous achievement.

..I have the tendency to agree with U here....though Roger Milla comes rather close.I'll only give it to Weah because he's played consistently @ a higher level than Milla..but watching Milla is like watching King Pele himself play..@ least from what I saw in the 1990 World Cup.Third in line is Austin JJ Okocha...we've had numerous debates on www.cybereagles.com on whether he's better than Abedi Pele...and I'll say yes because he has more arsenal than Abedi.Of all the footballers to come out of Africa though..I'd say JJ is the most evidently 'naturally gifted' with the soccer ball...he's only bane was that he was perceived as not playing with a sense of purpose early in his career(he entertains too much)...I've seen him spray passes that'll make football pundits ejaculate prematurely..and that's no joke....Weah..is extremely deadly and purposeful...he's a striker and he did it fantabulously...Milla was a leader on the field...someone who somehow controls how both sides play..
....btw...I'm yet to find a SierraLeonean on that list... Medeen..U sure sey una get League for Sierra Leone sef?

Firstly, Abedi Pele is a much better player than Okocha. Not only did he win the "Europena champions cup", he also won the "African Footballer of year award" two times. Okocha has not won the European champions cup or the African footballer of the year award. So how can he be more talented than Abedi Pele?
Secondly, I didn't include any Sierra Leonean on the list because I know no Sierra Leone deserve to be there. I'm not as biased as some of you guys who refuse to say the truth just because it involves your country.
Finally, you should stick to the discussion and not bring Sierra Leone in this issue. As you can see, Sierra Leone has nothing what so ever to do with the current discussion OK bro.
