Why didn't Vienna make a bid? They wouldn't have had a chance against London. If you don't believe me, ask Newyorkers.

They (Londoners) won't fight anyone at the Olympics. I knew you Americans won't congratulate London for their successful bid. Don't be surprised if London win more gold medals than all the other countries because preparations have already began inorder to train new athletes.

In addition to the £757 million Wembley stadium where the football final will be played, London is also going to build a new stadium for the athletics and this new stadium will cost £255 million, it will accomodate 80,000 spectators.
London will also build a £70 million aquatics centre and a £600 million athletes village. My dear London is going to take hosting Olympic games to another level and I have no doubt that it is going to be the greatest Olympic games ever.
London would not have been awarded the Olympic if it wasn't the prepared for the games. Infact London had the best presentation among all the other cities bidding for the games.

The space has already been created. The location of the new stadium was showed to the IOC (International Olympic Comittee) members during their visit to London earlier this year. Everything is in place and work had even began on some of the projects. So you can imagine what would have happened if London had lost the Olympics to Paris. It would have been a complete waste of money because to organise the bid alone cost £32 million.
