Nigeria rewards under 20 players!

The Nigeria government has rewarded players of the Nigerian under 20 team for their achievements at the just concluded world youth championship. Nigeria finished second and put up a brave fight in the final but lost to Argentina 2-1. Each player will be given 500,000 naira as a reward for their outstanding performance at the competition.

Interestingly, the Nigerian vice-president Attiku Abubakar has said that both he and President Obassanjo believe Nigeria lost because of unfair referee decisions.

In my opinion, I think they should focus their attention towards looking after these boys and making sure that these boys make a successful transformation into the senior team, rather than be complaining about unfair referee decision.

Actually, I support Nigeria sometimes. But I only support them when they're not playing against my favourite teams. I supported Nigeria against Brazil in 1996.
But I'm not obsessed with a team that cannot perform well except the brilliant Okocha is playing. Your under 20 team did well.
