LOL I've not seen any of these movies...
What does the "pink dot" look like? Is it really prominent? (Screencaps?)
Who know Tchidi Chikere, please tell him to change the lens on the camera he is using because that damn PINK DOT I have seen in THREE, count THREE of his movies are driving me nuts!!! I mean, what is wrong with these people? Why can't they just take time and do things well? Does he want to tell me when he is editing the first film, he couldn't see that damn PINK smudge? And he goes ahead and makes two more movies with the same damn camera? I mean, it's insane!!!
Beautiful Soul, My Idol and Keep Me Alive...pink dot, pink dot, pink dot![]()

"Anyone can make the simple complicated; creativity is making the complicated simple." - Charles Mingus
"My ultimate vocation in life is to be an irritant, someone who disrupts the daily drag of life just enough to leave the victim thinking there's maybe more to it all than the mere hum-drum quality of existence." - Elvis Costello
Probably on the lens...is it a dot or a blur? A burn on the lens?
"No man is greater than his prayer life. The Pastor who is not praying is playing; the people who are not praying are straying. The pulpit can be a shopwindow to display one's talents; the prayer closet allows no showing off"-Leonard Ravenhill
It looks like someone dip the tip of their finger in a pink dye or some sort of pink stain and touch the lens...that's about the size of it, the tip of someone's index finger. Like a smudge...not a blur, it is a defined smudge, stain, mark or whatever else it can be called. I know it's the same camera because the "dot" is on the same place.
My sister saw my idol and said she saw it there too because when we saw it in Keep Me Alive, we both said the same thing "isn't this the same thing that happened in Beautiful Soul." And T. Chikere directed that film as well.

BB...thanks for opening this thread. I saw the same pink dot in All The Way & Where Oceans Touch. Surely he can afford a new camera. If not,at least his igbo marketer friends can buy him one. And while we're at it, can someone pls beg him to pls stop singing on his movies becos it's getting irritating now. Anytime i watch Live To Remember, i almost want to mute the tv from start to finish.
I am what I am.
Na part of doing business, no be so? And as per he is a one man movie making machine, abi he is the screenwriter, director, producer, executive producer, editor, music scorer, sometime actor then he should have enough money to spare for new camera abi? Heck, he has friends in the industry he no fit ask Imasuen make him borrow am camera?
It just the blatant, I am Tchidi Chikere and anything I put out there those mumus will buy it attitude. Ah ah, why would he fix the mistake when it's not like you can take the movie back and get your money back because of the defect and that is a defect as far as I am concern o. He don collect him money carry Tonto Dikeh go buy tantalizer chicken, abi...MTEWWWWWWWWWWW
That ting just vex me eh because it's not like it's ONE movie but several (Beautiful Soul, Keep Me Alive, My Idol, All The Way, Where Oceans Touch) so it means HE knows it's there and doesn't give care about the product he is putting out there as he is collecting people's money even it's not mine directly but there are people who are buying original copies.
These people don't care! I just saw Tomorrow Must Wait; people's mouths are movie but there is NO dialogue, just the music score. They sold these to people knowing there is NO sound, that is FRAUD!!!

for real! even the dp as he is looking through the lens nko? i have ceased expecting quality from Nollywood but there are some basic standards that should still be expected now or am I dead a$$ wrong on this? I mean, even if this is pure business for him...simple a means to make money, put food for belle and there is no artistic aspiration/inspiration behind it at all, you should still do it properly nowwwww.
Mtewwwwwwwww, he is probably walking around bragging on himself as he orders Dom Perignon at O'Jez...abeg, I am done jare!
