I have seen films with him in that are good, but not BECAUSE of him. I just don't like the guy... He has a limited performance... always the same accent, same mannerisms etc... he is boring to me...

@your titles Mealone! The homvie you are referring to is "NEVER SAY GOODBYE"

Am I the only one who finds the guy annoying? If I may ask, has he ever lived abroad before? If not why does he insist with that accent of his? I find it quite irritating. Especially when he talks as if he is bored or the person he is talking to is less important.

Well i think his accent is in built he has always had it since he started acting. Its probably a way of making a statement in his acting career or it just comes naturally. A person doesnt need to live abroad to have a polished/foreign accent. I think you might probably find Nadia Buahari and Van vickers foreign accent annoying too. Its just like waiting to hear Hanks Anuku pull off a nigerian accent (kai he sounds ridiculous when he does that lmao) I hope my luv for Ramsey is not be clouding my judgements

Not at all. Nadia and Van's accent are very natural and you can hear that miles away. I think it's all because Ramsey was introduced to us a mulatto so we kind of expected him to speak like an americano.

We have ourselves to blame, but all the same the guy is boring.

Try watching his movies with a different mindset. Nigerians' accent in spoken english is phonetically evolving. People like Ramsey Nuoah, Genny, Rita Dominic etc. are taking it to a different level. At least they don't fake American accents that makes you want to hide, when you hear them speak.

    Well said.

But seriously, Ramsey acting lately is beginning to look and sound very dry and not convincing enough to catch one's attention anymore. I don't know if it's due to the wrong set of people he seems to be making movies with are the ones causing his performance to gradually go down the drain.
