Nollywood Must Rise !
The recent representation of Nollywood at the Montreal Film festival by Genevieve was a clear indication that Nollywood was on the right path to growth, and for that matter could attract foreign investments to expand the industry !
The first time I fell in love with Nollywood was because of Movies like
1) The Price
2) The Diamond Ring
Great movies with great cast, though the picture and audio qualities were not that developed well then, yet the cast made those movies "fantastique." All these good cast and good movies are missing because of the abuse of power.
How can stars like RMD (Best Actor, 2004) Genevieve Nnaji (Best Actress, 2004) Pete Edochie himself, Ramsey Nouah, Jim Iyke, Omo T. SDA...... I mean how can the stars that have helped move Nollywood to another bright and successful level be banned from acting !
Africa has suffered enough through the abuse of power and authority ! What our Nollywood marketers are doing to the young industry (Nollywood), and for that matter, the Actors, Actresses and Directors are unfounded, uncivilized and uneconomical.
The time has come, and its now, that you (the buyer) show your solidarity, support and faithfulness to these our stars, and to Nollywood.
Boycott Nollywood Movies untill the Ban is totally lifted !
If you’re in support just sign up and come out with other ideas ! You have that much POWER.
Alutha Continua !
Nollywood must rise.

The yorubas need to be more present in EMG
In both production and distribution.I can't for the life of me understand why the yorubas should leave the entire EMG sector only to the ibos to dominate. If the yorubas or other ethnic groups have been more active in this sector of nollywood, the top stars would not have been subjected to this nonsensical blacklisting, because they would've had options to continue working.
Folks,it is time for the yorubas, atleast,to enter EMG proper,if only to counter the socalled awka/aba boys by offering more alternatives to our top stars.
I am very sorry if i sound a little tribalistic, but that is not my intention.

sometimes its good to voice out how you feel. it does NOT by anyway make you a traitor or whatever. People even respect you more when you do that.
