They are angry that Nollywood did not wait to get the money from them like the French speaking African countries. They are also afraid that smaller independent moviemakers in their own countries might wise up and start doing the same thing. Once Nollywood raises the quality standards, they will be the premier content provider for all black people in the world.... you can quote me on that

Clap! clap! clap! I love ur spirit jare. Sick and tired of oyibo bad belle. I pray u'll be at the forefront of the new Nollywood. I've been in a very optimistic mood about naija as a whole for the past few days. I know there's a lot of drama going on in the country but strangely I feel things will soon start getting better. Inexplicable but true.
Anyway, how's ur post-production going? More vaseline to your knuckles.

Big momma, long time no hear. How u dey now? No mind oyibo man. Naija go conquer africa in terms of production of quality movies-wait and see. All these corporate bodies like Nigerian Breweries and Pan African University don dey interested in patnering with the industry and so the sky will be our beginning soon.

This is why nollywood has to hurry up and improve in the quality of it's productions,so that there will be less and less room for yabbees. The influence of nollywood will continue to make some folks in some quarters very nervous and unhappy indeed.Even there are a lot of nigerians who are not happy about nolly's influence, because they believe that nothing good can ever come out of nigeria and nollywood is proving them wrong.
I say,IT IT TIME TO MAKE THAT QUALITY LEAP,to stop all these side jabs at us.

Let them 'side-jab' all they want! Why are they bothered and why are they writing about it? Isn't it because they see something there and like all 'colonisers' they want to put it down so that it would be looked down on and unappreciated and consequently ignored.

But they are wasting their time! Nollywood is here to stay and can only go up and up and up and up and......

Nollywood needs to move one way, not get sidelined by detractors, and perfect its product very quickly. It is already the largest content provider for the African world. What business can dream of capturing its audience, whilst perfecting its product?

Note the language of the writer "largest box office in world after the US and India" - money. The white man does not sleep, and will find a way to get into this large box office.
