Sweating in Nollywood Scenes
After watching some many a Nollywood homvies, I've come to the conclusion that the sweating just can't be resolved. Is it not embarassing and a bit unsightly when you see your favorite actors who are supposedly supposed to glamorize this aura and perception of beauty, attraction, perfection and coolness that us mere humans can never attain, sweating like ******* waterlillies in the sahara desert? But then again maybe the profuse sweat scenes portray the temperature conditions in Naija to the max. I don't know, someone let me know, what they feel about these ******* scenes

i know ooo. i was watching this movie and this paly was sweating like a christmas goat in his own house. ok ur supposed to be rich and live in this huge mansion shebi? so why not turn on a fan or AC my brother?

To achieve this goal, the make up artists have to constantly ask to come in to wipe down the shine. You cannot not keep the Ac on because it will affect the sound recording. There are instances where you want the actors to sweat because the scene calls for it but beyond that you must powder them frequently. Now how can you achieve this if you are going to shoot a three part film in 10 to 14 days ... impossible

They probably need to cut down their sodium intake or Maybe its tension thing.

And i think its the weather in naija and also this thing about take 1- like take 20..after doing all these at times, the actors would have been exhausted and the make-up artiste would just be looking or sometimes some actors use creams that make them sweat...check out Desmond in games women play in the scene where he found out the three girls were playing on him in Omotola's house..his shirt was actually soaked...and i think eucharia also sweats alot too.

That's very true i have watched so many negerian movies and i have seen so many actors sweat and to me is really embrassing to do that. Why can't these actors and actress change before doing the movie?

I think the primary reason for the sweat is the halogen lamp they use for the production. I'm not sure if its the right one or not.
