"Violence" the movie website
Just came across this site on a new Nigerian movie 'Violence' based on Festus Iyayi's book. I think Nollywood is starting on a good note first '30 days' Now this.

30 days and this movie are not really Nollywood. Nollywood is Nigeria Homevideo production. These people are outsider Nollywood filmmakers. Independent Producers.

I don't see anything wrong with it. The name of the book on which it is based is called 'Violence' and the movie too is called 'Violence'.

I missed the premiere of this movie at Asaba; Because of my own production, Liz told me all about the movie. I thought they planned then not to release it immediately but to take it to some film festivals?

What part of that movie(Violence) didn't look Nollywood to you? Don't let the very nice website fool you. Look at the clips they have there. VERY VERY NOLLYWOOD

30 Days is a Nollywood production. I am not outside Nollywood - I claim Nollywood - I do not want to be known as anything other than that, I am definitely not Hollywood and do not want to be known as such - 3O Days A movie made by Nigerians for Africans and friends of Africa.
