Nice point made, but you are forgetting something, there is enough movie made already about the political situations in nigeria, and not every one in Nigeria knows that people ride bicycle here, and that it's not all what they think it is, and like i said before this movie is diffrent from all what you may have seen, and even you you did not watch it, it all good, because the movie is for those living in Nigeria seeing is believing.

What about you? Are you not a film maker yourself. Just making the point that we do not have a lot of political films in Nollywood. If so then I am not aware of them. Politics alone is a boring subject and I doubt that marketers would want to invest the time and energy into making a film that talks about politics. It takes a whole lot to make a political film interesting to the public.

Kingsley Ogoro made Osuofia in London and see what is happening? Any body who manages to get a visa runs the streets of Europe and takes shots of strange buildings and force Turkish and Dutch people to speak English! What is wrong with us? If those movies have got qualities, there is no problem. But they keep insulting our sensibilities and keep potraying Nigeria backward just to elicit laughter. They are not funny! There are so many storylines back home. What we need are creative writers who can make political stories less boring and very interesting! Use the flight ticket money and pay good actors. Instead of making 20 films in Europe go home and make a film to be reckoned with.. O´boy, we don tire! I swear we need to wake up and make something to be proud of! HoHah!

I am not forgeting anything. Movies made about political situations in Nigeria are as trashy as the ones they are making abroad! The only difference is while one is exposing the ignorance of its producers and directors (due to lack of research and creativity) the other is extended to Europe to help cover these heaps of ignorance and hope it will decieve people to make up their minds to watch an oversea´s repackeged trash! If I want to make a movie on a boring issue like Naija politics, I will weave my story not directly making it obvious that now I want you all to watch politics! No. That is where a creative writer is paid to unpack God given talents. Read Dan Brown´s Angels and Demons and David Yallop´s In God´s Name for instance. Both talk about religion and the state? Why would catholics avoid one and stumble to acquire the other? Even when both talk about Vatican? Creativity! Style enhances content! That is the simple answer not running to Europe to shoot trash!
