LOL. Anyway, [some of] the worst movies i have ever seen are:
1. high street babes[girls?] starring Shan George.\What killed me most about the movie was the way the girls kept chanting, 'high street girls! high street girls!! anytime you see a high street girl, pepper go dey rest! go dey rset!! go dey rest!!!' it was so annoying it was funny. i saw it years ago but the silly chant still haunts me; thats how come i remember it in the first place!
2. sisters on the run [or something like that] starring Victoria Iyama among others. Now apart from many other things, one teeth-gritting aspect of this movie was the fatc that it had to be a sister-act copy. well, not everything in it sha but they definitely aped sister-act when the nuns were on the street singing for money. as in they had mics and all that. then...wait for this...the mic that vic was using to sing had its cord tied securely around it. and it was supposed to be in use? WTF?!!! then of course, the singing was upsetting as the voices were laid in the studio and the lip sync was zero.
3. African Queen. starring Ini Edo, Funmi Holder and Michael whatshisname. no need to go on about this movie, but suffice to say i was sufficiently subdued by the sheer lack of cohesion of it. it awed me. in a very negative sense. the costume...no sync. the story...watery. like i said on the African Queen thread, i sincerely hope the producer wasnt taking herself too seriously with this movie. BTW I saw michael at the Girl power unleashed thingy at Eko Hotel last wkend and he looked fine...nice jacket and very very fine red shirt. we gisted and i bet he doesnt know i think he cannot act. lol.
4. the most exclusive girl in africa. starring one lady with big hips [who even did a music video some years after] and produced by Rosemary Ingbi.
i wont waste my words on this movie. i will just say, it is the most pointless, premise-less, directionless, creativity-void crap ever made in the name of a movie. i doubt if there will be any ohter movie in the future that will surpass this in crappiness.

for crying out loud, nollywood is getting better but just that some havent yet found where they belong.
some of them are really making us proud while some are just a waste of space.
let's also appreciate those who deserve to be appreciated!!!

naaah!! i witheld that information. wink. meanhwile, the guy just acted a new mmovie. the script was good and i wasnt sure if he would do his role justice, but i saw him on location once and well, the director said he didnt do too baadly. lets see. hmm. i think the movie willbe released in may or so. lets keepour fingers crossed. personally, i just think they give him roles because of his skin colour. call it simplistic but i have a feeeling some see him as the new Rhamsey although his acting skills compared to the former's are of course below par.
