One thing that was really stupid though was the portrayal of drug abuse. Him calling the cocaine "my cracks" was funny but ridiculous. Crack is the rock version of cocaine. The film makers really need to start doing research before they do these films.

Also stupid was the way he was sniffing the cocaine in a big pile and just running his nose in it. Cocaine users chop cocaine into lines and use rolled up paper or money to sniff it up. Just making these minor alterations would add so much more realism to the film.

Columbian Connection (How can u spell the name of a country wrong in a film title... NONSENSE!)

Engagement Night (Production was ok but the story didn't even make sense. How can your roomate for however many years and best friend never have met your girlfriend... FAKE! The producers also need to think about timelines when they do when they do this "5 years later, 10 years later" stuff)

Mass Destruction (I just couldn't get with the supernatural stuff and the AWFUL special effects. It was unbearable)

True Romance (I loved Rita before I saw this film, suddenly she was rubbish in everything, this film is a WASTE OF TIME... totally!)

Back from America (Another piece of trash with Rita in it... and those two small boys Osita and Chinedu... They kept doing this awful rapping... it was truly atrocious)

Night in the Philippines (Where can I even start? HEeeeeeeeeeeey!)

On a more serious note, Nollywood very often gets it wrong when they try to portray drug addicts, doctors (who come across as quacks), children sent to the US OR UK (they come back with really bad accents and a drug habbit), the mentally insane and so on. This is because the actors stick to stereotypes and cliches and no attempt is made to research a role being portrayed................ I guess the fact that most Nollywood movies are made in about 2-3 days, does not help matters one bit!!!!!!!

I remember watching Jim Iyke in Jealous Lovers. HE came back from the US with a drug habit, and all of a sudden he is on the floor shaking and growling like he has been possesed. He does this til his friend comes round and injects him (kudos to them they at least made the friend "pop" the vein instead of searching aimlessly and digging the needle into the skin). anyway the needle had barely touched him and all of a sudden he jumped up laughing and joking, "man what took you so long?" It was like watching Jekyll and Hyde. The producers should have at least watch ONE drug documentary to make it a bit realistic!
