The Dove Media label
How many flicks from the label have you seen and what are your impressions so far?
Are the Dove media homvies better in overall production value and stories than the other usual idumota class?
I have seen only two so far;MADAM DEAREST and BEFORE THE SUNRISE.The former was very good, while the latter was just average overall.
Other homvies have been released,too.
What do y'all think of the label so far?Is DM making the desired difference in standard already?

Just as important is whether they are beginning to break the backs of the so-called 'my-keters' and getting their products out to the market thru alternative channels.
I will be sooooooo happy if they are!

Nah!Breaking their backs shouldn't be the main concern, but trying to establish the elite standard of nollywood. They should strive to be the channel through which the very best talents nollywood can offer flourish. That should be the main goal.

Well, I was only told recently that Madam Dearest was not one of their products. So, for now, no.
I think I agree with your POV sha, that creating an enabling environment for the best of Nollywood should be DM's main goal.

For me it was just there but maybe its because am already familiar with the story..its the story of the prodigal son and how he squandered his inheritance and yet was accepted back by his father.
