You Can't P L E A S E Everybody reba...so be yourself always and say exactly how you feel. I have seen many of us including errrrm yours truly say good things about the movies we have enjoyed seeing...and some of us said bad....it is like that and will always be...some good things and bad things...but if we always talk of the good and ignore the bad, then the movies we love to watch will never improve......but, as you see, a thread has also been created by vince and so you see NR is not that bad afterall.....

How did i miss this thread.

Please enough of the screaming from the actors/ress. Oh my ear hurts anytime they start screaming. The message can still be sent without them yelling so hard.

The sound quality needs to improve.

The same locations, houses, cars, schools. Enough of that, find new locations and places to use.

I still love naija movie, that's what keeps me close to home. But we still need some improvement. Even has hollywood good reach, their own still finds fault with them. Nothing wrong in pointing out what should change, change is necessary and needed right now in our movies.

Pls stop doing movies in 3 parts
Pls stop making movies on parents who dont want their kids to marry.
Pls give better story lines dont make it too predictable and
YMG when subtitling write correct english
Baba latin does not have to give comedic relief he is annoying.
Give YMG better story lines
let new actors get in the scenes.
Both genres give meaningful titles to your movies.
Regulate sound on your movies.
Every movies does not have to have a party scene where girls are dancing butt naked
Again write more intriguing story lines

Improve sound / picture quality, most of the movies have poor sound/ and picture quality

improving storyline/ like having different storyline rather than some of the same old storties

no more fake accent, because faking accent sounds so terrible, like the actors / and actresses sounds like a child learning how to talk / They also
sounded like red-necks from the South. I didn't get it at all.

no more loud background music/ while the actors and actresses are having a coversation / we barely understand what they are saying.

This is not a discussion thread, but a kind of "Feedback Box",where you pass by and drop a feedback or two about nolly homvies and what could and should be done to improve the contents and the delivery.
Drop feedbacks from the script quality to the cover design.Anything that you feel needs working on.
THIS IS NOT A YABBIS THREAD O!
This is meant to help them serve you better.

I must say that I have seen a major improvement in Nigerian movies when compared to past ones. However, there is a need for producers to cast individuals that are not only versatile but people that have a good command of the english language. We often get off on using people with good looks but image, I think is everything and good command and diction of the english language is part of that image and will set movies apart and by diction, I don't mean our Nigerian actors should sound white-or wanna be usa/british accent. It is good to be our unique self but sound great and not "whishy washy". Anybody ever listen to Pete Edochie or Olu Jacobs speak? Oh!, the eloquence...these are some of the front runners.

Thanks!

Please, please stop having movies in 4 different part, why cant they can be put in to two part there is no need for any movies to have four different part. And the other thing that hurt so much is having part 3 and 4 of the movie with a totally different titles why can't you please keep the title the same.

I will even give some examples of movies with different title to prove my point
The cadet 1and 2 -the other part 3 and 4 is called end of evil doers.

Sunny my son 1 and 2- the other part that is part 3 and 4 is called my beloved son

Look in to my eyes 1 and 2- the other part that is part 3 and 4 is called take me home

Love and likeness 1 and 2- the other part that is part 3 and 4 is called will of God

The list is endless especially in recent movies is very confusing and annoying.

Improve the picture and sound quality.

I really loved watching nigerian movies because it takes me back home, so i will really appericate it if they can do some amends.

preserve our african pride

i thank God for nollywood. pls i would like you to tell them that we are africans and not americans. it looks so vulgar and out of place when you see them doing french kisses and fondling women's breast on screen. i think we should be copying the professionalism in script writing, editing, and casting from hollywood and not the dirty things about them. its really appalling since these days some story lines dont make any sense and you just see them kissing. we africans dont do that in public so they should stop potraying us in white culture. i live in England and many whites admire the sanctity of africans so why do we want to lose it trying to become hollywood where there are no moral values. the best we can be is a counterfiet, so why dont we professionalise in being ourselves?
i believe they can portray sex scenes and we will understand without them going too far. i must tell you that this extremism is the reason why marriages dont last in hollywood and even actors like will smith these days avoids any extremes except with his wife in movies just to keep his home safe. they hardly have settled homes these days in nollywood too. i hope we remember mr. and mrs. smith who ended up in real life breaking the guy's marriage.
pls let them be in the fore front of preserving our culture and decency through moderation and not destroying it . I really love lancelot imasuen but was disgusted in one recent movie i saw and it was just about indirectly showing us they have stepped forward now since they now do kisses and foreplay in films. i think that was a step forward in the wrong direction.
Cheers
