BUT, I MUST HONESTLY ADMIT that in Keeping Faith I loved their love lines or dialogues generally. Any other romantic movie must raise the bar on that movie's standard. Amaka Igwe and Ego Boyo..HELP!
Did Ego Boyo or Amaka Igwe write Keeping faith? I still need to watch that movie. I know Amaka wrote Violated.

The most annoying part of this love scene is when the guy n the girl wanna play love they will start running n chasing each other around a cocoa nut tree,Others do that at the Beach too.I don't think the only way to show two ppl in love is by running after each other at the beach like lil kids. I believe there r still better part than that same ol thing.,

It starts with lack of imagination on the writer's AND the actor's part. The actors also are too aware of themselves when they say the lines...they are so aware of people watching them on set, the camera and more so they allow their ambivalent feelings about the lines and how to say then and it shows. They probably feel stupid saying them and it comes across. They don't buy what they are saying so why should the audience?

Nollywood still has a lot to learn about SIMPLICITY.

Why won't they add their own lyrics if they know it would make things better.

And don't forget the directors too. They come before the actors.Directors are supposed to be attentive enough to see, hear and feel that the lines sound a bit fake, flat and unimaginative,so that they can make necessary improvements. But this is nollywood where things are done at breakneck speed,so no time for all that.
