After a string of successful shows, Oduga Communications is set to launch itself into the mainstream of the Nigerian entertainment industry with a talent hunt show, Discovery.

Discovery, according to the organisers, is fashioned after some of the best shows in the world.

Unlike other talent hunt and reality shows, Discovery would make a hit with four competitions at a go. The four areas are, movie, music, dancing and modelling.

Bunmi Afinnih, the spokesperson of the company, disclosed that the idea is borne out of the company’s intensive research on the Nigerian entertainment industry.

She added that there is a need to raise the bar and move to the next level with creativity as a true signpost rather than copy others, which is now the order of the day among event organisers.

“We are looking beyond discovering new talents in Nigeria and Ghana. We also want to create the enabling platform that would catapult them to the land of their dreams. We have a creative formula that is more original and fantastic,” she said.
