This is a very good thread. When Nollywood/Hollywood looks for a black model, they look for some curly head biracial person i.e. Halle Berry, Alicia Keys and those that look like that. Black is truly beautiful but America needs to know we come in ALL shades. We also need to stop disrespecting ourselves internally by calling our sisters and brothers dark and ugly. I think this gets into a person's head and causes them to start believing this. I have a friend who is dark skinned who is very beautiful but as a child, she was called ugly by her peers. Let's stop this madness.

More ebony actresses need to feature in lead roles in all the subsectors of nollywood.
I know my fav actress is very lightskinned,but i prefer darker beauties because they look much more exotic.
