Same answer as for the women Vince. The skin color should not make the determination, but I think it does play a part especially in the newer actors. Nollywood amazes me with the calibre of men they give us and call handsome. I am very surprised when the ladies are describing the leading men (some so obviously not handsome) and they start out with He is so handsome... I mean other attributes (dynamic, has a great presense, electric) should be used if he is not handsome because we are not blind and can see that this man is not handsome oh, no matter how much you say it.

Personally the standard of actors (male and female) in Nollywood needs to be raised AND IT SHOULD BE THE SAME FOR Coke, Fanta, Malt, or whatever color combination we have out there. Aside from the obvious (acting skills, power of interpretation, body language, etc,) For visibilities sake, they should be able to answer to the name: Great EYE CANDY (if they don't know what eye candy is, check out bollywood)

and be in reasonably good shape.

Let there be some standard. Not every Taiwo, Chukwudi and Musa should be able to be an actor... Haba, handsome men dey Naija, but they sure are not represented in Nollywood.

Also personally, I will love to see more darker skinned, skilled actors if that is the only way they will pick reasonable eye candy.

Yellow, Black it has nothing to do with wether they perform or not...

Some black want to be yellow some yellow turn black...its life!

Maybe the Technical crew can tell us wether the yellow people wanting to be black has something to do with the lighting!
