Veteran actor and theatre arts lecturer Sam Dede was at his best in a soon to debut action-packed movie entitled Deadly Deceit. Also starring in the flick, which was set in the military era and background, are the duo of Mike Ezuruonye and Chioma Chukwuka.
Shot with so much military might and precision, the high budget movie from the stable of Julam Production is expected to hit shelves nation-wide soon.
Commenting on the synopsis, Andy Chukwu, the movie’s director hinted that Sam Dede was the villain, who went on a killing spree as a top military officer, because of his insatiable lust for another young officer’s wife.
"Deadly Deceit, is not just an action-packed movie, but a movie shot with a lot of military logistics and equipment. Most of the props, we got officially from the military command.
In fact, we had real military personnel on location training our cast and crew. In a nutshell, it is a suspense filled love story painstakingly told the military way with obedience to the military tradition", he submitted.
While speaking on why he embarked on the project, Orji Austine Maduabuchi, the producer cum executive producer of Deadly Deceit, stated that his undying passion for Nollywood and the arts lured him in. "I have more movie projects and even music to embark upon in Nollywood", he maintained.
When eventually released, the flick will be marketed and distributed nation-wide by O’King Production in collaboration with other leading video marts and outlets.
