Nothing ventured nothing gained. will you rather sit passively thinking they will not respond or will you rather try, and at least know that you tried? and hopefully be pleasantly surprised? We must have the mindset of achievers, quitters have never won anything. try and try again TILL YOU ACHIEVE!!!

so is sitting online, moaning about producers your idea of "achievement" then?

if you are so keen on "achieving," why don't you get up and make your own movies to show them how it should be done instead of talking about it?

when you go back to ressurect a post from two years ago, some self appointed too knowns tell u things like the search function is your friend. if something was said 2, two whole years ago, and what was said was the truth, and yet you insult an emmy winning DP when our industry does not even know what a DP stands for, and of course our products gets worse by the day. where are we going? and yet, instead of collectively doing something, everyone is challenging each other in who knows what best. it is stupid. if y'all have realised that there is a problem and you claim you have "nollywood" people on this space then by all means, lets get a way to get to to bring the tchidi chikeres, the actors, the camera people onto this forum to read at least once a week the comments their faithful viewers are making about their work.

I believe we have knowledgable people on this blog, who can contribute. I am from Ghana, and I have a good number of the Ghanaian producers on speed dial so, what I propose is that the moderators set a different departments on this space. I know others will say you have it already, that is not what I am suggesting. I am suggesting a very independent space, for them ony to come and read and ask us questions. the search function will be of no use to them in this maze when you have to match words exactly when perfoming a search. so for example a space for Nigerian Film industry scriptwriters section, directors section, DP, Camera OPS, costume, make-up. where we can go and say hey, somethings we want to see from this department, not critique but an online workshop.
then another section for film critique, yes, I know y'all have critiqued a bunch of films and you have a section for it.

I am suggesting a whole new pop up window for this thing. so, every film will be archived, critiqued according to a certain standard and then constructive advice offered. Thus, the writer, director can come here and read what we said about his movie. I can register some of my directors and send them a log in info, so once every week, check in with them or forward them the link to a movie of theirs which we critiqued. and chiege will definately change her diction. I have her email address among some other email address of some naija artistes and I can get more.

imdb.com is what the american film industry uses, let us also make one for Ghana and Nigeria. little drops of water make a mighty ocean lets get proactive and see what will happen.
Thanks. and sorry for typos.

Mai diar we will even accept a small you tube clip from Kemibaby just like Stephanie Okereke did ...kemibaby knows how to yarn major Okpaks ...Im surprised she is not saying anything about ...the lack of ambulances to rush people to the hospital after an accident ....or constant power supply made available.....

Its Diasporians choice to be interested in the local home video industry ...the creators are not interested in winning an Oscar or even joining an actor's guild ...they are trying to make money so that they can afford the petrol to run their generators over night while Nepa takes light ...they dont want no mosquito bites.

No one is assuring them they have anything to gain by improving the movies.
