There is no secret agent like James Bond in real life,you know.

We just go with our fantasies to entertain ourselves,that's all.

I know we don't have to have them in real life, but i just dey wonder...as england get them own secret service agents (who i know are not like james bond) and america has her own agents too...do we have real life agents who can go undercover and do all that cool stuff???
like, our CID for example...

Our what? CI what? You must kidding, where will he get his training from? The only thing Naija CID does best is to investigate drug trafficking for years and come out and tell you that they found nothing. I even doubt if there are any Nigerian spies. Naija CID doesn’t have all that it takes to be a true secret agent; besides Fela said it all, “we fear too much.”

Some years ago, when we dey Unilag, my roomate had his father's car stolen. We went to Costain (Lagos) Police station and they told us to wait for an officer to look into it .

After waiting for maybe 2 hours, a man came thru the front door of the station in a dirty brown shirt with at least 2 buttons missing and bathroom slippers (walahi!) Through a mouthful of dodo and beans, he announced to us that he was 'The Detective'....

We never saw the car again.

but you and some others do tell me that we do have these agents! i tend to believe okestra and henchy because what they tell me sounds more believable.

But that does not stop them from doing good cop tv series.

A name is what you make of it. Make the guy cool, the name is no biggie.
