Ok,peeps!If someone in the scripting world decides to create a naija version of 007,and it gets to be made into a movie,which male actor would you cast?
My own choice will be(yeah y'all guessed it)-RMD!

Who would you choose?

The idea of a nigerian secret agent ala Bond is too farfetched,abi!

Do i love that guy or what!Whatever happened to that character?He was very popular back in the days.It would be nice to build a movie around him.

um, somehow i just dont see us having secret agents.
what would they be investigating?
i don't see a bond/mission impossible/(what is the american counterpart to bond?) type agent in Naija.
we might have them and I just am ignorant about it.

Why not?We have plenty missions in Afrika to send our secret agents to.With all the conflicts we have on that continent,missions are aplenty.
Not only the west can have super agents,we need one too.Nothing is impossible or out of place.
This is the new concept we all want to see on our screens.

that means they have to be changing the SA everytime.(we all know why)

Secret Agent for Naija no go hard now.
I used to write comics in University and our agents were kicking!

One story we wrote was a Naija scientist that discovered a cure for AIDS.
His work was worth billions and all the international drug companies were after him, but he was too patriotic. He was kidnapped and it was the Naija agents' job to find him before he was smuggled out of the country by the French and/or Americans who were both after him seperately.

Na script be dat o! F.O.C.!!

picture this:
Liberia about 3 years ago.
Charles Taylor is beginning to mess up and is beginning to become a nuisance to the african continent and her people.
Enter Obasanjo.
He summons the top secret service agent in Nigeria.
And sends him on a mission to remove the nuisance and remove him QUIETLY before he causes serious bloodshed and destroys the country.
Enter our secret service agent extraordinaire.
Guy is so good, he can pick a lock with a chewing stick. (not a toothpick, CHEWING STICK)
His family doesn't know he's a secret agent and in all appearances he leads a normal life.
He is the african equivalent of James Bond.

And so our agent picks up this assignment to rid the African continent of a useless tyrant and dictator.
Will he succeed?
Of coourse he succeeds but the whole movie will be about how he goes about getting rid of Charles Taylor.

Hello people,

NSO - The Nigerian Security Organisation was Naijas first Intelligence service type organisation. This was split into 3 separate agencies by the Babangida regime ( see below ):

SSS - State Security Service
DMI - Directoraten of Military Intelligence
DII - Directorate of Intelligence and Investigation

Some of these agencies were active during the apartheid era in South Africa. Nigeria was one of the frontline anti-aparheid states, hence South Africa's BOSS - Bureau Of State Security supposedly ried some subversive espionage on Naija. The same thing happened with Isreal's Mossad. Also, does anyone old enough remember the NSO attempt to kidnap and crate Umaru Dikko out of the UK ? The SSS also allegedly foiled a couple of coup attempts in Sierra leone against preseident Kabba, before Major Johnny Paul Koromah finally succeeded. Some SSS/DMI operatives were seconded to Ghana to help protect President Kuffuor in 2001, when there were rumours of an assasination attempt by agents loyal to ex-president Rawlings.

All of the above will make good food for thought for a Naija secret agent movie.

I think a movie that somewhat has a story close to the secret agent was released last year,it is called "DAYS OF GLORY".I heard that it is very good,but haven't seen it yet.

As far as "polishing" them is concerned,dat wan no be yawa now!Give the script to a superb talent and let somebody like Tade Ogidan direct it and you have an agent so slick that he will make James bond look shaken and stirred!
