That title OYATO,why that particular title?
Their own translation was STAND OUT.The question is:what exactly "stands out"?
My own translation is,DIFFERENT.What is exactly "different"?

Can someone explain that title to me,'cos to me,it is senseless and has absolutely nothing to do with the storyline of the movie.

That was a great, nice storyline and educative ending. Is good to be good no matter what the situation is.

Pretty average movie,really.Nothing to get excited about.The storyline is pretty cliche and predictable right from the word go.If you've been watching yoruba movies for a long time,you will know what i'm talking about.Most of them follow the same route,using the same story components.Definitely not a collector's item.
In a scale of 1-10,i give it a reluctant 4.

My favorite bit is where Jide Kosoko is being taken to see his wife by the doctor who does not tell him she is dead, planning to show him instead - but as they start walking away, the song starts saying death is wicked, death takes one partner leaving the other...EVEN BEFORE HE/We KNOW(S) she's dead! And the cat is out of the bag already. A lot of the lyrics in movie music do that. They tell you the story even before the action gets there, and then they play that song over and over, so you already know it all.

Yoruba movies do that all the time!Using the music score to tell the viewer what is about to happen!!

Men!Some people still have a whole lot to learn in the art of telling stories with the moving pictures.
The basic rule of visual storytelling is that the character in the movie/script and the viewer watching/reading the movie/script learn new informations in the plot at the same time.But in this case,the viewers get to know it first because of the stupid mistake caused by bad scoring.

The part that really annoyed me and got me to tune off completely(close to the end,anyway)is where Enitan's new husband(ogogo)tells enitan that he COMMANDS her to forgive her former hubby who treated her so wickedly!!

Men,that sucks!What sort of person will write such rubbish?You can't force a person to forgive,let alone command!I mean,what is wrong with this people?!

Forgiveness comes from within and not from without.Scriptwriters need to know a little bit about human psychology and phylosophy too,damn!!

I think it will be safe to say that Baba Wande stole the show in this one.He was in top form!

The movie is good,despite the fact that there are a number of flaws in it,but good.
